Special Edition Thanksgiving shared…

Extra Extra, read all about it!  A wonderful response to the Thanksgiving post from the 2012 flowerflinging campers (see www.flowerflinging.blogspot.com August archive for the camp).

As I said in Thursday’s post, designers are so passionate and generous and here’s the proof from campers who shared their holiday table designs with us!

This acrylic wave was created this summer by the Grower with plexiglass, a heat gun (for stripping paint), and lots of patience.  How grand it looks with the feathers.

See the variety of textures and colors that create the excitement….

From Mrs. Flower Show, nee the MOG, charming and inventive floral turkeys, who knew?

The Nominator says gold is the new black, always elegant – especially as she has designed it in such a handsome setting.

What a creative way to celebrate the holiday.  This textural symphony makes a handsome centerpiece created by the Nominator.

A close-up of the ‘ingredients’: among them –dried lotus pods, feathers, green mum both button and spider, lily turf grass, feathers, funghi, Osage oranges (the green ‘brain’ looking fruit, center).
